Clean and nice location near to famous street

I have just returned from my holiday in Istanbul and had to write an excellent review straight away, while it was all fresh in my mind. The hotel staff were so wonderful. Friendly, warm and very helpful whenever we asked any questions about using the metro, taxis for the airport or an additional information. On out last night my husband fell over and sprained his ankle pretty badly. I went down to reception and asked for some ice, which they brought up straight away, even though the kitchen was closed. The lovely man with short white hair always had a big smile and nothing but warmth and a smily face for us. He was such a gem!!! He even gave us a prayer mat. I booked this hotel due to it's modern and colourful, pink yet stylish interior design and intended to have a brand photography shoot there for my business. The hotel was very helpful and made it all easy for me. I wasn't expecting that much for the breakfast and we had intended to go out to the local area in Taksim for a good traditional breakfast, yet I have to say, I adored their breakfast, there was a good variety of everything you could possibly want, home cooked warm food, a good range of baked patisseries and bread, we never felt the need to venture out in the morning ( the weather was quite cold) for breakfast. Our bedroom had noise cancelling double windows which reduced the noise from the outside massively.

Good location, good and big room, very nice view from windows. In total we had a quite comfortable stay, but it is better to renovate the rooms or repair.

The Pros: I love the Room Mate chain of hotels, as each one gives you the sense it is a boutique hotel in that each is very unique and typical to the location. But you also get the reliability and system/uniformity of quality of a chain. So, you get the best of both worlds. The cost is more reasonable than most Room Mates and the location is optimal (right in the heart of Cihangir and very near the main pedestrian shopping street here). It is 8 minutes from Taksim Square. The decor is chic and tasteful and the rooms are ample, such that you feel like you're in a studio flat. It is quiet and clean. The staff are wonderful. I was impressed especially by Onur, the front manager, who was very professional and efficient. I stayed here for an extended 3 weeks, and have already booked another 10 days in a few months as I felt very much at home. I will recommend this hotel to most people to whom it is suited. The kind of person who would like this hotel is a young-minded person who is really interested in immersing themselves in the heart of old/fun/hip Istanbul. Big plus: the room service breakfast is just 10 euros and it is the best ever!!! See photo.

The staff here are lovely, always incredibly helpful and professional. The room was nice and spacious, very clean (and room service comes around super quick if you leave the tag on the door, like within the space of having breakfast downstairs) the decoration of the whole place is really cool actually. Breakfast here is really good too, loads of options, no room service with food but the staff will help you order delivery at reception. Good location too but be sure to pre book taxis.
